5. Does the Worker have a business license and does the worker maintain a business location that is separate from your company’s business location?
A business license may not be necessary if the location (e.g. city) that the worker is performing the work in does not require having a business license.
It is best to ask the worker in writing whether the worker has a business license and if not, whether a business license is not required.
The worker can choose to perform the work at your company’s business location, but the worker’s own business location must be at a separate location from your company’s location.
